How Get Sinew From A Deer Leg
Getting Sinew from a deer's leg, front and back is really easy. Just make a cut straight down the leg and then a circular cut just below what you will think of as the knee joint. Then peel/cut away the hide to expose the bone. On the front and back of the "shin bone" there will be a tendon.
Cut the tendon near the foot and the knee joint. But do this only after running your knife blade between the bone and the tendon and separating it from the bone. Then it is a simple matter of cutting upwards near the join to detach the tendon. Then grab the tendon and cut it off at the bottom.
It really is that simple. Now you have your sinew from the deer's leg bones, which can be used for a number of different purposes.
