Aluminium Bronze is bronze with Aluminium as the main alloying metal (Copper + Aluminum) whereas, regular bronze is Copper with tin added. The amount of Aluminum varies, typically from 5 to 11 percent. Iron, Nickel, Manganese, and Silicon can also be added in small amounts to give different properties.
Aluminium Bronze Alloys are resistant to corrosion. Alumium Bronze is often used in guitar strings, underwater fastenings, and ship propellers and jewelry.
